The Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce recently honored Casa Larga as the March Business of the Month.
Founders Andy and Ann Colaruotolo shared a vision for producing wine that could be shared with friends and family. The winery started as a hobby and then turned into a business. The first vines were planted in 1974. It takes four years for vines to produce fruit; the first vintage was not released until 1978.

Casa Larga Vineyards has been chosen as the March Business of the Month by the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce.  Founders Andy and Ann Colaruotolo shared a vision and a passion for producing good wine that could be shared with friends and family.  The winery started as a hobby and then flourished into a business.  The first vines were planted in 1974.  Just as time marched on from hobby to business, so did the ownership.  With the passing of founders Mr. and Mrs. "C," the Colaruotolo children, Andrea C. O'Neil, Mary Jo Telesca, and John Colaruotolo run the business today.  Throughout the business, family tradition is enjoyed and furthered.

Greenlight Networks, an ultra-high-speed, broadband service provider, offering residential and small business customers Internet speeds up to a Gigabit per second, announced today that it completed construction of its 1st Greenlight District in the Village of Fairport, NY.

One hundred and twelve business professionals and local community members attended the annual Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce’s The State of the Town, Village, & Schools. This event has seen exponential growth during the last three years.  Annually the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce hosts an event entitled The State of the Town, Village & Schools for the benefit of its members, interested professionals and citizens.  The event opens with an hour of networking and attendees enjoy lunch at the Burgundy Basin Inn while listening to the presentations.  All of the hosted speakers reinforce the bond of community, earning wealth, health, and enjoyment from working together.

Maplewood Estates has been chosen as the January Business of the Month by the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce.  The Maplewood Estates, 55 Ayrault Road in Fairport, opened in 1999.   Residents reside in studio, one and two-bedroom apartments and have access to a large dining area and a private dining room.  The Maplewood community is very family oriented, with larger spaces that can accommodate extended family gatherings.  The staff reinforces this family atmosphere as they interact with residents and other staff members.  The staff also includes a full-time nurse, from Interim Health Care.
