Business of the Month

December, 2016

Re-occurring passion built Belview Floorcare.  Now this young company is being recognized by the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce as the December Business of the Month.

David Belliveau founded Belview Floorcare in March of 2015.  At that point, floor care had previously sparked his interest a few times.  While in college, Belliveau sold vacuum cleaners.  This job led to an entrepreneurial effort cleaning carpets for extra money during his college years.  After college, his interest in carpet cleaning continued.  Belliveau said, “My interest led to researching carpet cleaning techniques, but I ended up putting the idea of a full-time carpet-cleaning business on the back burner.”  Then, a carpet cleaner crossed his path and David’s carpet-cleaning interests were sparked once again.  At that point, he decided to move forward, turning his interest into a private business.

Belview Floorcare serves the Greater Rochester community with carpet, wood, tile & grout, upholstery, odor, and concrete cleaning, plus floor refinishing and Epoxy installations.  Now the business is almost two years old with a staff of cleaners, trained in the various aforementioned cleaning techniques.  These techniques yield compliments from customers like Nancy Hughes Nasso.  Nasso said, “Made our white, wool carpet look like new with no harsh chemical smells.” The versatility of techniques and personally trained staff are a niche for Belview within the local floor cleaning industry.

The application of Belview’s service can be applied to many environments beyond residential and commercial. These cleaning techniques can be applied to boats. Matt of Greece said, “Dave cleaned the carpets and entire carpeted interior of the cuddy cabin within my boat and did an amazing job.”  Vehicles are another environment in need of cleaning.  Debbie Doris said, “My car looks like new thanks to Belview Floorcare!”

Belliveau is actively involved in the Fairport-Perinton Chamber, serving on the Board of Directors and acting as Treasurer for the Chamber.  He is also a member of the Greece Chamber of Commerce.

Kelly Wright, Chamber Board Director and member of the Membership Committee said, “Through volunteers like Dave, who are faithful attenders at Chamber events, willing to take on leadership positions, and match their professional talents to meet Chamber needs is how the Chamber functions as a non-profit, staffed 100% by volunteers.”
