Town of Perinton Launches New e-Newsletter for Residents

In an effort to connect Perinton residents with more information, the Town of Perinton will begin producing a monthly e-Newsletter. Residents can sign up to have the publication sent to their email by subscribing at www.perinton.org/newsletters.

“With the decline in newspapers, it is important to find new ways to get important information out to our residents,” Town Supervisor Ciaran Hanna said. “We have a great website, wonderful social media and a quarterly newsletter in the Recreation & Parks seasonal brochure, but we want to connect as many residents as possible with important news and announcements. I hope you will sign up and stay in touch!”

The new e-Newsletter will feature current news from all Town departments, including Recreation & Parks and Public Works. It will also feature information on upcoming events, meetings, and topics of public interest.

MCCM Legal Alert: Do you own Canadian Real Property?

If you are not a Canadian Citizen or legal resident, and you own real property in Canada, you are now required to file an “Underused Housing Tax Return” (“UHTR”) and Election Form. There are no exemptions from filing this return. If the return is not filed by the deadline, there is a $5,000 fine for individuals.
