The Chamber member lunch on October 12 was about VISIBILITY through participation.

Our attention was drawn to events, leadership positions within the Chamber, Committee work, and digital communication channels.

The lunch itself provided an opportunity for members to actively participate, starting with a time dedicated to networking.  Ellen Reynolds, Event Chair, reviewed our upcoming calendar, including our monthly informal coffee, a member hosted-progressive breakfast, and our holiday party.  http://www.fairportperintonchamber.org/?q=events-list.

Katie Castro of the Membership Committee drew everyone's attention to making your business visible to new members through Welcome Baskets.  Baskets are delivered to new members with gift certificates, t-shirts, hats, mugs, pens, magnets, thumbdrives... from our Chamber members, welcoming new members into active membership (http://www.fairportperintonchamber.org/?q=members). Additionally, Katie introduced the Referral Benefit, which provides members with a three month-membership extension for each referral resulting in a new member.

In summary, our Annual Meeting was a great success with over 50 Chamber members in attendance with 45 different businesses represented.  Members enjoyed a complimentary lunch and beverages with more than 10 door prizes awarded, all of which were items from our own member businesses.  Prizes included a 30 minutes massage from Sandy Swanson, LMT, a fitness consultation with Personal Trainer, Tom Fortunato, from Fitness Motivation, and an overnight stay for two at the Hilton Garden Inn.  If you were unable to attend, we invite you to earn visibility through digital participation, starting with a review of the content covered during the meeting, which is summarized above and on the Chamber website (http://www.fairportperintonchamber.org/?q=digital-communication-presenta...).  We look forward to seeing you at our next event (http://fairportperintonchamber.org/?q=events-list) and future Member Meeting.

Earn increased visibility through active Chamber participation, as a leader, at events, and online.
