Jim Bilotta Elected New Chamber President

At the Chamber's Annual Member Meeting in June, Jim Bilotta was elected Fairport-Perinton Chamber President. Jim is the Branch Manager of Lyons National Bank, Fairport. For the last 2 years, Jim has been the Chamber Vice President. Previously, Jim served on the board and has been a key contributor to the 4th of July 5k Race, Parade, and Party-in-the-Park. Out-going President Paul West is moving to Florida with his family. Paul has been a member of the Chamber for the last five years; four of which he has served as President.

Custom 100 is Business of the Month

Custom 100 has been chosen as the June Business of the Month by the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce. Darren Miller is owner and lead designer. Custom 100's mission is to help communities grow and connect to like-minded people through design. The Chamber of Commerce's President Paul West stated, "The entire membership is appreciative of Darren Miller's contributions to the Chamber through his skill as our Web Master and dedication on the Board of Directors. July 4th Parade & Party in the Park

Please join us in celebrating a traditional July 4th in Fairport. Activities include the Firecracker 5K Race at 8:00 am, followed by the Parade at 10:00 am. Party in the Park 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Fairport Students Available for Business Internships

The Fairport High School Work Based Learning program continues to identify ways that Fairport High School internship students can work with the Faiport Perinton Chamber of Commerce members. FHS 2018 senior Ryan Austin is currently working with the Fairport-Perinton Chamber. Ryan connects with followers of the Chamber's personal LinkedIn page, encouraging them to follow the new business Chamber page at Fairport-Perinton Chamber. Don Eaton Awards Agent of the Year

Don Eaton (L) from San Group, Inc. awards Agent of the Year Award at the San Group annual meeting in Worchester MA along with Jeff Siebert (R) of San Group - to Joe Antesberger (M) of Antesberger Risk Management from Beaver Falls, PA. Fairport Baptist Homes Golf Tournament 7/19/17

July 19, 2017 Swing For Seniors, Fairport Baptist Homes Golf Tournament. One of the area's premier golf tournaments is back for another year. To date, this tournament has raised more than $300,000 to fund programs and services that benefit thousands of area seniors. Marci Callan Celebrates 40 Years at FAST

Marci Callan, Head Coach, GM of Fairport Swimming, is celebrating her 40th year. Marci has served USA Swimming in multiple capacities and also coaches Fairport High School Swimming. Marci has been at the forefront of implementing science in the sport to benefit swimmers. One such advancement is the use of Triton Wear, a metric measure of progress and performance. FAST has had 8 Olympic Trial qualifiers in her tenure. Read more...

Ameripise Employees Help Feed the Hungry

Ameriprise Financial advisors, employees and clients recently came together to help feed Rochester, NY area families. Organized by Silver Leaf Family Financial Group, 18 people volunteered at Foodlink sorting and organizing food for distribution to surrounding counties. Nationwide, 3,700 Amerirpise volunteered to help the 42 million people, including 13 million children and more than five million seniors, who struggle with hunger in the U.S. Read more...
