Huge Art & Furniture Sale

Ladybugs Play celebrates one year!

January 19th marked the one-year anniversary for Ladybugs Play! To celebrate this exciting milestone, Ladybugs Play celebrated all week with a giveaway each day supporting and spotlighting our neighboring local businesses, such as Pizza Chef, Steve's Diner and Haircuts for Peanuts. Throughout the week, each visiting child received a special Ladybugs themed treat and $1 of every admission was donated to Golisano Children's Hospital. Ladybugs Play is thankful to the community for their support throughout the first year and is excited to meet new families and welcome back existing families in the new year!

Open play and birthday parties are in full swing at Ladybugs Play during these cold winter months and their staff is excited to welcome Emily Biggins and Meghan Maier to their growing team. Ladybugs Play reports that their friendly demeanor and willingness to help are perfectly suited for the Ladybugs' team.

Friends of Manny Coming Together at the Distillery

The Rochester Police Locust Club and the Rochester Police Department will be co-sponsoring a fundraiser to benefit the children of Officer Manny Ortiz, who tragically passed away in November. The “Friends of Manny Coming Together at the Distillery” is a two-day fundraiser, which will take place on Wednesday, February 19th and Thursday, February 20th, from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm each day. All four local Distillery restaurants will be participating, including: Mt. Hope Avenue, Greece, Henrietta, and Victor. The Distillery will donate 20% of the total food sales from all locations. Our Chamber member Edge Advertising Group is helping to plan and promote the event. Please consider supporting this great cause!

MCCM Addresses Child Victim's Act

The Child Victim’s Act, recently signed into law by Governor Cuomo, expands look-back time for consideration of cases involving child sexual abuse. Individuals and businesses/organizations may be liable in a civil case for these wrong doings. For more information visit:
