Estimates predict that by 2020, Millennials (those born between 1982-2000) will make up 47% of the workforce, and this number is expected to increase to 75% by 2030. Edge Advertising Group recently attended a presentation from the Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation about the ETHIE Awards. Businesses/Organizations can self-nominate or can be nominated for this award. The review process involves approximately 40 hours of work on the part of the award candidate. Speed Networking - April 24, 2019

Speed networking is the business version of speed dating except contact information is readily shared with others in the business version. Join other chamber members for this event at Eagle Vale on April 24, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. This event will provide exposure to a lot of members in a short amount of time, and it's a way to let others know who you are and what you are looking for. Light snacks and cash bar will be available. Watch for the registration announcement; space is limited to 30 members. Cost: $10.00.

Ice Cream Factory Announces Return of Cruise Night

Our member, the Ice Cream Factory and Rev On Car Events are bringing back the weekly, Tuesday Cruise Nights to the Fairport Village, in the Box Factory parking lot, starting June 4. There is an opportunity for businesses to help sponsor these events, joining an 11 year history of Rev On Car Events, including classic cars, music, and food.
