Business of the Month
CUSTOM 100’s mission since 2008 has been to help communities grow and connect to like-minded people through design, and they have held true to their word. Owner and Lead Designer Darren Miller’s perseverance as an entrepreneur and community-focused service has earned CUSTOM 100 the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month for June.
The Chamber of Commerce’s President Paul West stated, “The entire membership is appreciative of Darren Miller’s contributions to the Chamber through his skill as our Web Master and dedication on the Board of Directors. Darren’s digital expertise has been instrumental in establishing our Chamber’s strong identity as the leader of local business.”
Throughout his college career at University at Buffalo, Darren worked for Wegmans and also as a freelance web designer. After seriously considering his future, he decided his best interest was in starting his own web design business while he was still young. Darren is creative and enjoys helping people. He also works with subcontractors if he needs expertise in a specific area.
The Senior Living Council (SLC) had an old and outdated website and, unfortunately, had lost touch with their original website designer. Darren designed an entirely new brand for the SLC, complete with a fresh website, fliers, letterheads, and other branding materials. The SLC was ecstatic and so excited to show their new face to the community. They felt Darren had “breathed new life into their business.”
In addition to Chamber involvement, CUSTOM 100 dedicates time and talents to youth and non-profit organizations with community-minded projects. CUSTOM 100’s community involvement also includes volunteer work with FACET (Fairport Area Community Education Trust) and TEDxFlourCity.
