About Dr. Ragona
Dr. Ragona runs a successful and profitable business operating as Ragona Scientific, focusing on selling equipment from European companies (UK, Germany, Russia) into the United States and Canada.He also consults for start-up companies on how to work with and negotiate with different cultures and nationalities on global distribution contracts. This has given him wide experience in negotiating, persuading and selling high dollar value systems with long sales cycles. Dr. Ragona received his Ph.D. from the University of London and regularly publishes articles on sales and negotiation strategies. He is a member of the Professional Development Council of MANA (Manufacturers Agents of North America} and a Certified Mentor with SCORE of Greater Rochester.

Fairport Music Festival 2016

In addition to the thirty plus bands that provide non-stop entertainment for this one-day. two-night show, the event includes children’s activities, games, crafts, and festival foods provided by many area food trucks and vendors. There is even a section for not-for-profit agencies to advertise their mission presence in the community.
One Chamber benefit is exposure through the Fairport Food & Music Festival. On Saturday, August 27, from noon-6pm, our Chamber table will greet people at the point of entry to the food and non-profit exhibits in the Box Factory parking lot. FACET 2nd Annual Adult Community Spelling Bee

Join FACET in support of Fairport education by sponsoring a school-based team of Fairport educators or by entering your own adult three-person team representing your business, organization, book club, neighborhood group...or come to spectate at this fun and family-friendly event, free and open to the public with plenty of on-site parking available. Will the Minerva DeLand School Word Wizards retain their title or will a new champion be crowned????
Pizza and light refreshments available for purchase from 6-6:45 pm....enjoy a video showcase featuring the best in Fairport education, too! Community Spelling Bee begins prompty at 7 pm.
The event on February 26th is a tournament style spelling bee consisting of multiple rounds of competition between teams until only one is left. This is a fun event! We will have a team of three Chamber spellers: Edge Advertising Group's Amanda Diedrich, Just Solutions' Heather Jones, and Licensed Massage Therapist Sandra Swanson. The team of 3 will collaborate to spell words. We are encouraging Chamber members and their families to come and watch from the gymnasium bleachers and help us cheer on our Chamber-mates, with noise makers!!!
Our participation benefits FACET, one of our members. It is also an opportunity to make the Chamber visible in our community and for you to bring attention to your business too.

Annually, Henderson Ford and MV-1 of Rochester collects toys, along with business partners, for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots. Once again, we will be conducting this community-wide collection and will also be sharing toys with the Beechwood Neighborhood Christmas Store. Located in a Rochester City neighborhood, the store will provide toys for purchase at very low pricing, to allow for personal selection and to promote a sense of parental involvement and ownership in the gifting process. In advance, we thank you for all of your generosity and service to our community in need. Toys can be dropped off at Henderson Ford, 810 Ridge Road, Webster or at any of the following locations:
